At Skovby, we have chosen to bring design, engineering and manufacturing together under one roof. This creates a close connection between idea, development and the finished piece of furniture, while allowing us to bring different areas of expertise together throughout the process.

Our furniture is created through close collaboration between cabinetmakers, technicians and our in-house architect. Here, craftsmanship, technology and design come together as new ideas are transformed into functional furniture that is designed not only to look good, but to perform for many years.

This combination of tradition and technology is an important part of Skovby. We value and preserve our craftsmanship while continuously developing our methods and possibilities.

For us, a good working environment is an important part of creating products of the highest quality. We want our employees to feel valued, enjoy their work and have opportunities to develop their skills and expertise.

Many of our employees have been part of Skovby for decades, and we are both pleased and proud to celebrate many 25- and 40-year anniversaries within the company.

Skovby furniture has been produced in Denmark for more than 90 years. This has given us time to refine our craftsmanship, develop our designs and build a strong tradition of expertise.

We design furniture with respect for what came before us and an eye towards what comes next. To us, good design is not about following trends, but about creating furniture that can become a natural part of people’s homes and lives – for many years to come.
