The Skovby Remote link gives you the opportunity to control your AV-appliances hidden in the Skovby SM86 or SM87 TV/HI-Fi Lowboard.

The Skovby logo on our Lowboards functions as a Remote Link, which transmits the signal from the remote control to nearly all infra red recipients like DVD, digital receivers, media centre, video and stereo equipment. Only by pointing at the infra red eye in the Skovby logo you can control several different AV-appliances.

The SM87 TV/Hi-Fi Lowboard - a multi-purpose storage furniture in a modern and thoughtfully developed design that offers plenty of flexible solutions for today’s dining- and living rooms.

The design is tight and angular without being strictly minimalist. It matches the Skovby dining room series with its clean, straight lines. All edges are rounded making them pleasant to touch.

The SM87 is extremely stable and is of the same high quality as all other models of the Skovby collection.

Behind the top drawers front there are hidden shelves and underneath two large drawers - which is far more practical than dust collecting shelves.

The drawers are without handles and with non-slip bottom - perfect for hiding audio equipment, CDs etc.

The upper drawers front are easily pulled out with a slight grip around the edges and the hidden shelf appears - an elegant solution for storage of DVD players and excellent for the remote controls of your equipment. The back panels are perforations, which can be pulled out for carrying through the wires - an easy and simple solution.

The lower drawers are big and spacious - especially useful for storage of DVDs etc. and offering the opportunity to keep all the entertainment in one place.

The SM87 Lowboard is a multi-purpose furniture and can just as well be used as a low sideboard with excellent storage room in the living room or in the hall. The possibilities are numerous.

Your Skovby Remote Link is compatible with all AV appliances receiving between 30-60 KHz, which is the standard of leading IR remote control brands.
